The northerly winds have well and truly arrived in Hervey Bay, normal for the October period. So, when you spot a small window in the weather, you need to grab it with both hands and launch. Doing just that, we recently took the boat to McKenzies Jetty on K’Gari – Fraser Island for a half day family boating adventure.
During this trip, Gen and Liam head off on a bush walk. Intent on finding the remains of the secret Z-force training camp rumoured to exist inland from the jetty. Meanwhile, Elliot and I set about pumping fresh bait and catching a whiting or three.
