Hop on board for a boating day trip to Wathumba Creek on K’Gari – Fraser Island with the whole family. First stop is forced upon us by a pod of curious whales. Who get up close and personal to the boat, this truly was an amazing experience. Further north, we reach Wathumba Creek where our first task is to find fresh bait. Liam and I then get stuck into fishing, followed by lunch on the boat….. did someone say bacon?? Then, on the way home we discover a new gps mark and catch a few surprising species on jigs.
