Major Craft Jigpara
Featuring in many of our videos is the Major Craft Jigpara range. We absolutely love using these jigs and they have caught a massive range of species for us. We are particuarly fond of using 40 and 60 gram Jigpara Short jigs and in the colours - Silver & Red Gold.
Thermacell
When fishing along mangroves and in the creeks along K'gari - Fraser Island we often encounter swarms of mozzies and sandflies. We use a thermacell to keep them away from us. We set it up on the centre console and simply enjoy fishing without annoying bugs biting us.
Go Pro Max 360
Since 2019 we have been using the Go Pro Max 360 action camera. You can watch any of our recent videos to see how effective this camera is. We are massive fans of the Go Pro range and can not recommend their products enough.
Red Paddle Co SUP
We use a 10ft 6inch Red Paddle Co inflatable paddleboard during our family exploring adventures. The Red Paddle Co brand is dearer than many of its competitors. But, you are paying for serious quality. They are lightweight, super resilient and very easy to load on and off your boat.
Gamakatsu Baitholder Hooks
When we bait fish we use Gamakatsu fishing hooks. They are extremely sharp, super strong and stay sharp after catching multiple fish.
Butane Gas Cooker
When camping or for boat lunch time cook ups we favour this style of butane gas cooker. The shallow pan with lid is recessed reducing wind impact on the flame. Also cooking for 4 people is much easier due to the generous size of the pan. You can see our butane gas cooker in action in many of our videos.

Humminbird Solix
Our boat is equipped with a Humminbird Solix 12. This is linked to our Minn Kota Ulterra. We mainly fish creeks, rivers and into Platypus Bay to depths of 40m and this unit is perfect for what we do. The touch screen feature makes it so easy to use and the big, bright 12 inch screen means we can see the information we need with ease.
Shimano Stradic Ci4
We run a 1000, a couple of 2500, 3000 and a 4000 sized Shimano Stradic Ci4 reels on our rods. We have used these for a number of years and they are still going strong. We mainly use them for estuary fishing, especially on the flats of K'gari - Fraser Island when flathead fishing. They are a fantastic fishing reel.
