ANZAC Day 2024 in Hervey Bay and ‘boy oh boy’ did the weather gods turn it on for us fisho’s !! Conditions were ultra glamorous !! During this boating adventure the family and I head over to Bogimbah creek on K’gari – Fraser Island. Liam and I start off with some light flats fishing while Gen and Elliot explore some mangrove edges via kayak and paddleboard. After interrupting what we believe were mating stingrays. We boat to Hardies reef for some fishing. The current is ripping and the fishing is challenging but we try our luck with some light weighted metal jigs and find Hervey Bay gold on the end of our line !!
